Senior Communications & Marketing Officer
The Northern Land Council is recruiting for a Senior Communications and Marketing Officer to join our Media and Communications team. About the Role
This position will drive impactful communications and marketing strategies for the NLC! Collaborate across teams and with Traditional Aboriginal Owners to create high-quality content that showcases NLC’s projects and achievements. Be the voice that raises awareness and highlights the incredible work of the NLC across all mediums.
In this dynamic role, you will:
Take the lead in delivering impactful content and outreach for the NLC! Contribute to the creation, design, and distribution of Land Rights News, Australia's leading land rights publication. Help to grow the NLC’s digital presence across its website and social media, ensuring alignment with policies. Execute standout marketing, engagement, and communications projects with precision, and represent the NLC at festivals and cultural events through displays and promotional materials. Be a driving force in connecting communities and amplifying the NLC’s mission!
What You Will Bring:
Exceptional cross-cultural, interpersonal, and communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively with Traditional Owners, internal teams, and external stakeholders to build strong, productive relationships and drive impactful engagement. Proven experience in providing quality project management of varied projects specific to marketing, engagement, communications and resource development through rigorous work plans.
