The project officer will support the management of Aboriginal ranger programs, IPA projects, and other regional land and sea management priorities across our working on country ranger program.This position will contribute to the delivery of various Caring for Country (CFC) programs and will assist ranger groups to develop and implement annual work plans, as well as resolve daily operational challenges, and fulfil reporting requirements. What You Will Bring:Demonstrated administrative and computer literacy skills.Cross cultural competency and strong stakeholder engagement skills.Sound interpersonal and verbal communication skills.Skilled in annual work planning, budget management, and reporting. In addition to this, you will have: -An advanced diploma in Conservation and Ecosystem Management -or relevant equivalent qualifications and/or minimum of three (3) years’ experience and demonstrated practical skills in supporting on the ground land management activities.Experience managing programs assets ranging from infrastructure, accommodation, plant and equipmentCurrent C Class Drivers Licence and the ability to travel remotely via 4wd and light aircraft.
