The Northern Land Council (NLC) is seeking a motivated Project Support Officer to join our Community Planning & Development (CP&D) team. This is an exciting opportunity to support Traditional Owners and native title groups in planning and delivering community projects that strengthen governance, build skills, and create long-term benefits across the Top End.
About the Role:
Working under the direction of the Senior CP&D Officer, this role provides critical support to community-led projects. You will assist with organising and recording meetings, providing logistical and administrative support, and helping ensure community groups have the information they need to make decisions based on the principles of Free Prior and Informed Consent. The position also contributes to project compliance, data collection, reporting and communications—helping to ensure NLC’s CP&D activities are delivered in line with government funding criteria and community aspirations. This role involves close engagement with Traditional Owners, native title holders, and local stakeholders. It’s a chance to contribute to meaningful change and support Aboriginal-led decision making.
