This is a high-impact leadership role driving meaningful change across the Northern Land Council’s Caring for Country (CFC) Ranger Program.
About the Role
As the Women’s Engagement Coordinator, you will lead the design and delivery of the NLC’s Women’s Ranger Strategy, supporting more Aboriginal women to join, stay and grow in ranger roles. You will work alongside Traditional Owners, ranger groups and key stakeholders to strengthen culturally safe pathways, leadership development and workforce participation for Aboriginal women in our regions.
What you will bring
You bring experience leading culturally responsive programs or workforce initiatives, underpinned by a strong understanding of Aboriginal culture, kinship systems and community engagement. You have a demonstrated ability to build trusted, respectful relationships across communities and stakeholders, and you communicate with clarity and purpose. Your strengths in mentoring, coordination and program delivery enable you to support participation, develop capability and achieve meaningful outcomes.
