Working alongside Rangers and Traditional Owners, you will play an important role in supporting the management of Malak Malak Country while building valuable skills and experience close to home.

About the Role:
The Administration Officer provides essential administrative and operational support to the Malak Malak Ranger program, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the Ranger Base.
The role is responsible for coordinating travel and logistics, processing timesheets, leave and purchasing documentation, maintaining records and correspondence, and providing project administration support. Working closely with Rangers, Traditional Owners and NLC staff, you will help ensure the smooth delivery of ranger activities and projects across Malak Malak Country.
While the role is primarily office-based, you will also have opportunities to spend time in the field with Rangers, building your understanding of ranger work including land management, cultural site protection, fire management and caring for Country activities.
What You Will Bring:
We are looking for a motivated and community-minded person who enjoys helping others and takes pride in keeping things organised. You will bring strong administrative and communication skills, confidence using computer systems, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment. Most importantly, you will have a genuine respect for Aboriginal culture and communities, enjoy working as part of a team, and be committed to supporting the important work of the Malak Malak Rangers. Applicants should hold a current C Class Driver Licence and be willing to undertake local travel and occasional field-based activities.
