Our vision is to ensure that Aboriginal people benefit socially, culturally and economically from the secure possession of their land, waters and seas. About the Role The Information Communication and Technology (ICT) Unit is integral to supporting NLC’s strategic objectives and the efficiency and continuity of business operations though the provision of ICT services, systems and infrastructure.  The ICT Core Services Support Officer is primarily responsible for assisting in the resolution of ICT Service Desk Requests and will support the ICT unit through maintaining the security, integrity and operational effectiveness of ICT services, systems and infrastructure across the NLC. The main responsibilities include:Provide high quality ICT technical support to end users via the service desk process on a diverse range of ICT systems.Provide assistance as required in the development and delivery of end user training.Assist with the ICT and communication service operations of NLC remote offices by streamlining remote support and enabling.Assist in the ongoing monitoring and administration of current technical security measures, including reporting on their effectiveness in protecting NLC assets, this also includes escalating any security issues or breaches to the stakeholders and/or ICT Manager.Assist in the development, maintenance and implementation of the ICT’s security policies, security framework, practices and procedures. About YouTo thrive in this role, you will have:Demonstrated experience in service desk environment, including providing network support, troubleshooting and problem resolution.Technical skills and experience in working with Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, Active Directory, WINS, DNS, DHCP knowledge.Demonstrated working knowledge of the following: SCCM, CCM, Citrix, VPN, and ITIL.Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer-focused services.Excellent organisational skills, good attention to detail and the ability to determine and manage workload.Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills. Remuneration and Benefits:1 Year ContractLocation: DarwinSalary: $75,006 to $87,646 per annum (pro rata for part time employees)Allowances, e.g. district allowance and airfare allowancesFBT exempt salary packaging benefits pay13% superannuation contribution5 weeks annual leave (pro rata) & 17.5% annual leave loading Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander applicants are encouraged to apply. COVID-19 VaccinationsPlease note COVID vaccinations are mandatory for all NLC staff.How to Apply: A full Position Description may be obtained by clicking on this vacancy on our website https://jobs.nlc.org.au/ .
