About the RoleIndigenous Protected Area Coordinator sits within our Caring for country Team. As a Ganalanga Mindibirrina IPA Coordinator, you'll lead the coordination of IPA and work plans, manage ranger teams, and forge community partnerships to fulfil Traditional Owners' aspirations while ensuring strict compliance and reporting. Our CFC program provide two-way land and sea management by supporting Aboriginal employment programs and establishing land and sea management initiatives for the Traditional Owners.In this exciting role, you'll collaborate closely with Traditional Owners, advisory committees, ranger teams, and other stakeholders, contributing to the preservation of both cultural heritage and natural resources while executing our annual work plan for the IPA. Additionally, substantial hands-on experience in Aboriginal cultural and natural resource management are highly valued. In addition to this, you will have: -Proven expertise in project administration and financial management, encompassing grant application writing, fund acquittals, and adept project coordination and implementation, ensuring the successful delivery of intricate projects.Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to write reports for a range of audiences and to communicate sensitively and effectively with a range of Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal stakeholders.Current C Class Drivers Licence and the ability and willingness to undertake remote travel in a manual 4WD vehicle or light aircraft.
